It's Been A While...

Real Life has been amazingly full recently. My hubby took a new position in his company and he's had to spend a lot of extra time working while he learns the ins and outs of his job. And today is my son's 3rd birthday!!!! It's so bittersweet for me, but watching him grow up is one of the highlights of my life

It is unfathomable that he is 3 now. I can remember when he was just a little germinatin' seedlet. ;) And, we had cake last night too...we could say it was for his bday...that makes it legal ;)

As for books, I'm stuck. I've been reading these two NF books (Bill Richardson's Between Worlds... and Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential...). They're both good books but not a lot of action, so I'm thinking of reading the Blood Books by Tanya Huff. I'm looking for some good escapist fiction and well I've yet to find better subject matter for escapism than vampires. We'll see. I'm glad you're still reading The Bible....that takes real devotion.
