How long has it been?

[His voice is fairly level and light, almost amused, but those who know Mukuro well will be able to detect an undercurrent of strain and annoyance.]

When our powers disappeared, I assumed it wouldn't be so difficult to simply wait it out. It isn't as if I need my powers for anything in particular. Except the pipes, I suppose ( Read more... )

paranoid and powerless, this event is annoying, the strain's getting to him, master class in lying, isn't it over yet?

[ Tsuna can't really relate, Mukuro, as he doesn't use his powers too often, and he'd be perfectly happy if he never had to again- because that would mean that everyone was safe and he was leading a normal life! ]

I, uh, think it's probably better when people aren't fighting...

[And Mukuro is very uncomfortable and somewhat insecure without his powers - that's what being used to using them to survive will do to you. He wouldn't know what to do with a normal life.]

Better, maybe, but not as entertaining. Besides, there's no water in this house without our illusions supporting the pipes. You don't find that irritating?

Fighting isn't entertaining!

--Y-yeah, but I never even knew you could have water in this house... [ He got here during the power loss. ]

[Save for one, the is the first time that Fran's talked to anyone over the network in about eleven days. He looks like he hasn't eaten or slept in that time. Or bathed, for that matter. Damn pipes.]

Ch. Knowing my luck this might be permanent.

Master, you must be missing all the fights between the superpowered people who have become normal and even more overemotional. It's actually quite funny to see angels and demons fight over cooking and things like that.

[Mukuro's barely left the mansion in that time, and he hasn't been talking to too many people either - better to lay low, just in case.]

I wish your luck wouldn't extend to the rest of us, little one.

And I suppose you're correct, I have missed those fights. They aren't nearly as flashy, and I'm not particularly interested in stalking anyone's domestic squabbles.

It always has, for as long as I have been here.

Ah, some of the wizards have set things on fire. That's fun to watch.

It's very inconvenient.

Really? Well, at least that sounds somewhat entertaining. Still, I can't say I'm enjoying this.

It's sort of the same for me. I don't really mind it, but now that it's been this long, I'm sort of worried. And what if it means the Animus are getting stronger?

You don't use your powers that often, I assume? And that's interesting, I hadn't considered that. If their games are lasting longer, that really could mean they're getting stronger. That's an unpleasant thought.

I hope it isn't the case. A lot already happens here.

Yes. I think they're already powerful enough, anyway, considering all they can do.

I suppose slapfights between people who used to have incredible powers and no longer do could be almost as entertaining.

It's been ages and ages!

[Someone is literally tearing their hair out here.]

An' it's stupid dattebayo!

It is stupid. And rather troubling, to think that the Animus have the power to make us helpless whenever they want.

[Sigh.]

Hopefully it'll be over soon.

I wonder what they did it for though, dattebayo.

Real soon. Like, tomorrow!

I don't know. Do they usually have reasons? I thought they just did these things to amuse themselves.
