Arthur Shows Molly the Muggle Christmas Lights

Apr 08, 2010 14:39

I am now officially Maths challenged since I sent the following story off to stmargarets as an early birthday present, six months and eleven days before her actual natal date. Sigh! Please don't tell on me to any of the Statistics graduate students I was the teaching assistant for. ( Look under the Cut to Read more )

I love your Molly and Arthur!

"like cabers, only with wires"--What a brilliant description of telephone poles!

I love the way Molly was complimenting the car. Too cute! :D

I SO needed something sweet and fluffy today. This was just perfect!

I'm glad I was able to contribute to your fluff minimum daily requirement. Obviously, I love the way Molly and Arthur get along.

I was going to wait to post after St Mags finished the story but figured I'd better get it out while people still remembered that Arthur had taken Molly off to see the lights while Ginny asked Kathleen for advice and got to know Audrey.

Maybe I am the only one who wanted to know what happened that night.

Lovely, Kate! Your Molly and Arthur are just adorable. And I loved how the car calmed down and drove them around when Molly sweet-talked it. Awesome, really. *happy sigh*

That Ministry car may have seen more canoodling in the past couple of days than ever before. Thank you. G- Rated Fluff written on demand.

The first tulip is special so congratulations!

Thank you for reading the story. As I said earlier, I couldn't let Molly and Arthur go off to look for Muggle lights in the very car that Harry and Ginny had played their "Twenty-three" game in without writing about it. Molly may not remember everything the next morning but may know she had a lovely Christmas Eve.

I love this! 'the blue and white ones mean either that the Muggles are Jewish or belong to the Conservative party. They also might mean that those who display them are in favor of a free Scotland.’ I'm still wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes.
What a sweet, lovely story!

Thank you for reading and taking the time to write a review. I absolutely love Arthur and how curious he is about the Muggles. He sometimes sees uses for things that others don't. I stopped writing Molly-centric stories when Ginny had finished Hogwarts, but I guess I miss doing them. A corrected version of this story will be up at Phoenix Song after Mary posts chapter twelve there. I have never had the patience to post at SIYE.
