[Books. Books as far as the eye can see! No matter how long you search, you can't find an exit. Books line all the walls, and row after row of shelves occupy most of the floor; the pattern is only broken by several clusters of tables or chairs strewn throughout the infinite levels of the complex

[Madoka lingers back by a bookshelf situated behind Mami's armchair, peeking out at the blonde girl. She's prepared to approach, of course- the silly little grin on her face is proof enough of that -but why not make it fun and go for a sneaky surprise?

Mami would think it was cute, too...right?]

[The thing about libraries, Madoka: they're quiet. even with her footsteps muffled by the carpet, even as absorbed as Mami was in the book she was still focused on... she's been fighting too long not to notice an incoming sneak attack.

But she humors Madoka, for now, and pretends to be fully absorbed by the book. She really is quite cute when she's like this...]

[She tiptoes very quietly over to the armchair....but because she's kind of a derp, for all her effort, she's not really that quiet anyway. But she tries! And sneaks....closerrrr....]

[And when she's only a step away, Mami decides to speak up, still focused on her book.]

[He knows himself- or "herself", in this case -better than anyone else, so it's without needing to hear a word that he sits down in the armchair next to hers.

His smile is a little warmer than usual today.]

[It takes a moment for Mami to acknowledge the newcomer. When she finally finds a good place to stop, she tucks the ribbon-like bookmark between two pages, closes the book, and sets it aside.

It's... still strange, seeing this reverse-gendered doppelganger of herself, but it's been long enough that most of the shock as worn off, so she returns the smile.]

I see you've decided to be a bit more friendly today.
