[Kay wasn't fast enough to catch the thief in the act, but at least she can investigate the crime scene afterward! Out comes Little Thief with a holographic projection of what the store looked like before the crime occurred. Kay will be comparing the differences between the two scenes to see if there were any likely tricks involved in how this was done, and also in an attempt to collect evidence.]

[ Souji steps out from his door still in his pajamas. He yawns and walks to the foot of the driveway barefoot to pick up the morning paper. He steps on something peculiar and recoils backwards, looking what he stepped on. It's a small, soft black suede pouch with a note attached to it. ]

"An omiyage from The Man With Twenty Faces"?... Ahh, that thief did it, I guess.

[ He opens the pouch and empties the contents onto the palm of his hand, looking at an ornate golden bracelet. ]

... It's nice, but what am I going to do with this?
