It's funny... with Bones, I want the character of Hannah to leave, but certain criteria must be met. The character can't be killed off, can't break up with Booth for no reason, can't run off with an old love. Certain things must be met for me to be happy with her leaving because of the potential fallout for the main characters ( Read more... )

Haha I feel the same way about Hannah. Like...she can't go in any way that will leave a lack of closure. She can't die because then he'll just be depressed. It has to be Booth's choice.

Or Hannah's if she leaves because she knows he's in love with someone else (uhem, Brennan) and this is still kind of Booth's choice.

But. Most of all I want Brennan to start dating someone awesome and Booth to get jealous and spend half a season trying to one-up the guy (and failing...mostly) and THEN Hannah catching on and leaving and Booth..um..not giving a crap. And then Brennan can be the one with the "non-consolation prize" for a while.

I kinda of want Booth to have to suffer and spend a lot of time proving himself now, because I still don't understand how if he is so in love with her, he can just be over it.

But yes, Hannah can't get killed off, this would totally put Booth back at square one.
