Keeping the streets clean (open)

Vampires were still out there and she was still trying to find them to destroy them, but at the same time she needed to be careful and make sure there was no way that any of them could over power her. If any of the Masters got hold of those things she had absorbed, no one would be left alive. The eye, the rib and the heart would give a vampire the ( Read more... )

Observing what was called a stop sign, Katarin marveled at how...red it was. She nearly hissed in pain when her bare feet met that of a piece of glass on the pavement.

"So... these... metal boxes yield at the red sign?" the brunette realized what an idiot she was sounding like, but she kept her voice down, and tone normal for fear that anything else in this pitiful city would hear them. Why was she following Rayne? Because she needed a place to stay... and to be honest, Kat didn't think she'd survive on her own in this new place at a new time.

In her hand she held a magazine, something she had picked up from a vender without anyone even seeing her.

"Cars..." Katarin recited.

"This does not make any fucking sense... "

'Yes, cars,' she let out a breath wondering what kind of hell she had just had thrown upon her. Of all the people in all of the places. Why her?

'Car's stop at a lot of thing, but not often for people so if they are moving, do not step out infront of them.' Why the hell had she said that? She could have gotten rid of her, no, that wasn't the way.

'You need to watch where you are walking,' there was no way in hell she would carry this woman, 'you do not know thatis on these streets.'

"Your girl on crack?" a shadowy figure had stepped out from behind an alley way, heading for them. He seemed slightly on edge, spike black hair and the brownest eyes anyone had seen.

"Nice..." he looked to the red head, and then to the brunette. Clearly a vampire, he was wearing something that Buffy would declare... so last year. However, Katarin didn't know this.

"Crack?" Kat eyed the man a moment, not taking her eyes off of him, one hand slowly balled into a fist at her side.

This... magazine in her hands...could it... kill him? She eyed it a moment.

They never learn, that was the only thought that drifted into her mind at that moment, they never learn.

It was one swift and precise movement that had Rayne removing the blade strapped to her back and swinging it to remove the vampires head from it's body. Years of practice had sharpened her fighting skills and techniques.

'Keep moving,' she said bluntly to kat putting her blade away. 'I think we need to find you some weapons.'
