The new Alice in Wonderland: shiny but boring. I was surprised at how little I cared about what happened to any of the characters. Super shallow with some delightful window dressing.
Favorite part: How the White Queen moved, so conscious of grace as to be almost funny but also just fun to watch.

Totally agree about Alice. Saw it in Bangkok. Lots of neat production, but I was never moved to care about the characters. This seems to be the trend with animated films. All visuals, no storytelling.

I'll have to check out the others you mentioned. I saw a great German film recently that you might like: Reveche. It's streamable on NF. The beginning is deceptive. Stick with it - it gets interesting.
