Chronicle Eighteen- Life is Precious

 Had a run of tragedy a few days ago. While driving back from dropping off my frined Ozzy, I hit a cat who had jumped in front of my car. The cat lept into my headligts, but I was too slow to react. That's really profound. I would have removed it from it's misery right then once I saw that it was still alive, but it sounds right what you did still. I hit an opossum once, but I consider those creatures to be on the level of mosquitos and flies.. It still affected me though.
I'm told that the cristian religion doesn't see animals as having souls, but I don't know whether to believe that or not. I should consult the bible more.
