Actually yes.. I even believe they were the openers when GNR and Metallica toured together, but I'm not so sure on that one..

This is true.

I remember because I was watching MTV, and FNM were performing songs off "Angel Dust" live at the MTV studios. And they were delightfully messing with the veejays.

As Downtown Julie Brown runs on camera after FNM finishes to announce the showing of "November Rain", Julie jokes to Patton that "You know these guys well; you're touring with them! It's Guns N' Roses!"

And Patton yells "WHO...?"

Couldn't stop laughing.

holy crap, this is the funniest thing i've seen in a long time. i bet the show writers got a real kick coming up with that stuff. it reminds me of the time nike ripped off minor threat... only this is way better.
