It's not 'til the nu-metal screaming that it stops sounding like Dio. I dig it at least as much as Seether's Careless Whisper cover.

I forgot to say thanks last night. And yeah, it was. I've never really listened to any Killswitch Engage before, but the few I listened to yesterday and today were pretty good. I haven't really listened to any new (90s+) music, and either I find something new, or I'm stuck in a rut like 95% of everyone else. I don't really care for the screaming, but I'm getting used to it.

I also re-found a band I'd heard of before called Amon Amarth. They have a song called "Varyags of Miklagaard." It's about a group of Varangian mercenaries in service of the Byzantine emperor, whose capital was Constantinople (Miklagaard). Since I'm a history whore, I liked it even more.
