i never said, or indicated in any way, that i thought it was uncommon, just that you're the only one i know personally who does it.

Everyone in our household does.

I use it as an indicator of whether the kiddo's fallen asleep during afternoon naptime -- this month we've been using the Spirited Away soundtrack as quiet-time music and she hums along when she's awake.
