Very intense make-out session, and very realistic. That's how real life situations are. You get caught up in the feelings, you try to talk about what's happening but only manage to find words for about half of what you want to say, and then the powerful momentum of touch just sweeps you away -- and at the end you're left with all the same questions you had to start with. So well done. Aww Eric. It makes sense that he'd be the one to run away.

Was a little sad that Eric left, but I guess it's understandable.
Great chapter!

Yes, Eric left and it's just awful that he did. And yes, Van is going to be upset and concerned. We'll learn more about Eric's reasons and he's share them with Van, don't worry about that.
Glad you liked jealous!Van. Van is very curious about Eric's history with Christopher and why Eric kissed him. Van has a lot of questions and we'll get the answers to them, I promise.
The NC-17 stuff was very difficult to get through and I'm grateful for how you described it.
Thank you again for such a lovely comment. It means so much to hear/read. ~Ali

He didn’t want to share this “Dear Diary” moment with Eric, not after all this time, not after thinking it was impossible in the past and now having the taste of Eric on his lips now.
The NC-17 stuff definitely worked for me :) I like how you used Christopher and the Eric/Christopher relationship feels like it progressed to the correct stage. Van had the right conflict between needing to know that Eric wasn't just experimenting with him vs. being jealous of Eric doing things with another man. Loved the insinuation that Christopher was a Van-substitute.
they were kissing on Christopher’s couch. The blonde reached up and tugged on Eric’s hair for a moment, his palm cradling Eric’s scalp, trying to guide him closer. The gesture was comforting for a reason Eric never could figure out why

Van was right to be upset before he knew about Eric and his past--liked how you showed that, that he wasn't going to be Eric's pity object or experimentation.
Eric surprised me, though (before he left, obviously) by going further even if he was nervous, scared, etc. So glad he did. The tension between them had reached a peak and they just had to do something about it, for sure.
It was great, the whole sequence of getting each other off--brilliant!
And thanks for showing Christopher--I like knowing exactly what happened there. (And another thanks for not having Eric do all with him; I'm selfish and I want Van to be the only one to show Eric how everything is done. :))
So worth the wait!

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel :) It's a nice reversal of the typical Luke/Reid stories.
