Fictional pets, the best kind...

Much as I love the kids, it wasn't until I was driving home today that I saw something that reminded me what I have always wanted as a pet, ever since I can remember... a siamese cat! I blame my mother, who bought me a picture book when I was very little about Ming and Ping the blue-eyed kittens, and they've remained my ideal ever since, assisted ( Read more... )

Well you know that I already have 4 cats and 1 dog and one of the cats is a purebreed snowshoe siamese so I don't really need another cat. HOWEVER if I could I would love to get a Great Pyrenees dog, I love those dogs but they are big and they need loads of room and I live in a small townhouse.

I'd also love to have a horse specifically one of the Mountie horses and a Parrot. I'd probably get a few more cats 'cause you know you can never have TOO many cats ;-)

I think that's it...

More cats? Is crazy old catladydom beckoning?

And there was me thinking it was just the Mountie... ;)

Naahh they just seem to arrive on my doorstep and meow their way into my Hubby's heart *sigh*

I'll take the Mountie with the horse please ;-)

I'd get two Old English Mastiffs and they'd be named Caesar and Pompey.

I would get a Basset Hound and name him Balthazar, Slayer of False Gods but call him George. And a Corgi. And a Clydesdale.

I've always liked Bassets, but unfortunately I can't really remember why I wanted Balthazar, unless it was a D&D thing, and the George because of the 'hug him and kiss him, and call him George'. :)

They do. But it was like I'd forgotten how much I wanted one until I saw one yesterday and then 'bam!'. ;)

I'm not sure what the kids would think though, and I expect the dislike would be mutual...

A raccoon,. My farm cousins, who were much older, had some as pets while they were kids, and I adored stories about the raccoons as a kid.
