Well, I said if it was a half-decent game I'd enjoy it, and it was indeed half a decent game. ;) The first half was excellent, though England decidedly failed to capitalise on their overwhelming possession of the ball (the stats said 58% to 42% at one point late on, but I think that was a conservative estimate). Not as funny as seeing Peter Stringer sandwiched between the two Irish locks for the national anthems before the NZ v Ireland game. His head was only just above their waist level. Even funnier when he tried to tackle Nonu in the second half and bounced about 3 feet backwards.

Joe Cole did work his ass off. I have no idea why Idiotson is reluctant to use him but continues to pick Owen Hargreaves....

I think England must have been replaced by pod people in the second half! Or possibly, well ONE STRIKER, might have been an issue ya know?
