How bad can three eight-year-olds be? *laughs hysterically* Spoken like someone who doesn't have one. I admit to being shocked Jack and Ianto combined can manage to get them to nap (unless that was supposed to be overnight?) but I do love Uncle Ianto's revenge in the form of a sugar high. And the last line does seem to foreshadow something (and Jack HAS been pregnant...wonder if his chickens will come home to roost?) I can't imagine Jack being enthusiastic about having kids they're both likely to outlive without a compelling reason (or an oops.)

Oh, and I grew up in North Carolina, though I don't live there now.

Spoken like someone who doesn't have one. *laughs* Exactly. Ianto doesn't rent, he owns!

It was not an overnight thing; the triplets arrived early in the morning, about nine. I imagine they took the kids out around ten, stuffed some food in them and let them run around for a few hours to wear them out, so they fall asleep on the car ride back -- and I imagine that Ianto and Jack conked out on the couch even if the kids didn't stay down for long!

No, it wasn't foreshadowing, but you and a few other people have sort of poked at an interesting plot bunny. *laughs*

North Carolina's so pretty, we went up there on summer vacation a few years ago.

Oh way to get back at his brother! I love the image of the five of them at the park, and Jack catching Ianto in the bedroom with the three sleeping boys. So cute! Excellent addition.

*laughs* Jack totally got jumped on, too. You know how it is, they sensed weakness. ;)

Thanks for reading!

*laughs* Nah, it's not so much 'being evil' as it is 'you need to spend more time with your nephews and give me a break, kthnx' And honestly, Ianto doesn't really care, he loves them.

Haha, brilliantly evil Ianto. Justice, methinks.

Fantastic, love it!

I have done this!!! I have 3 ten year olds in the family who where dumped on Auntie one spring break (I am a teacher so clearly I had the whole week off). They went back to their parents each night loaded with sugar. The "oh can you take them for the day" last 3 days!!!

Love this! So cute!!!

Mama Musica's a teacher too, so I can relate with the "She's free, she's a teacher, she has off for vacation!" Her favorite thing to do is to load her kiddies up with candy the last day before break and send them home.
