What's the bet that was a tranq gun? Or that the Doctor has some way of reversing the effects if it's not? I doubt he'd so willingly shoot someone otherwise (or be so blithe about it), even if it is Moriarty.

That said, great chapter! The Doctor describing how Jack taught him was hilarious :) As were Donna and Sherlock bickering over who should be shot! Not to mention Sherlock stomping his foot cause he got it wrong! <3 both of them :) And John pulling a stunt Eight did. Love it! And aside from the humorous factor, it was all quite touching. Of course John couldn't choose. And the drinking/eating description was lovely.

Looking forward to more! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Thank you so very much! I'm so thrilled that you liked their dynamic. They'd completely be like that, really. They're all crazy, you know that, right?

(oi. stop reading ahead. :p)

This is why he hates them -- he's a terrible shot!

I love the tonal dissonance of the confrontation on the bridge. It's both tense and heartbreaking yet strangely funny with the alien argument and Sherlock stamping like a 5-year-old. It makes the hole thing surreal enough to feel like a real Doctor Who episode.
