Lol, the Doctor can never get his timing right can he? I love that he wants Donna to go after her dreams but doesn't want to lose her.

Poor John being sick, but he and Donna are so cute together! Even though he coughed on her the kiss was sweet. And I'm with Donna he's bound to get one of them right eventually.

I like to think that the Doctor is very much a doting Daddy or Uncle to his Companions (well, most of them): he adores them, loves having them around, has far too much fun spoiling them, and would gladly foot the bill forever; but he ultimately wants them to be happy, even if it means losing her.

I have far too much fun writing unlucky John'n'Donna. Because they both really just take it so very well.
