You know, I don't have a link to where I originally got the directions. Google "fleece tie blanket how to" or something and you'll find a ton of directions. Basically, the fringes are 4", so you cut 4" squares out of the corners, then cut 4" fringes all around, then tie them together. Of course you have to make sure the fleece pieces are the exact same size first so you might have to trim them. And I'm sure if you wanted longer or shorter fringes it would work too.

My mom actually got one of these for Christmas from Chris's mom. His mom didn't make it herself, though; she bought it from somewhere. But it DOES have a little "Handmade With Love" pendant sewn on.
Ours is red plaid on one side and dark navy blue on the other side. It's such a soft, warm blanket. I love it!
