I did remix a couple years ago and it was so fun and so rewarding and I wrote one of my favorite H/D fics because of that fest. I found it different than a typical exchange because I wasn't writing from a list of prompts or likes/dislikes, but had whole frameworks to choose from. At first it was a bit overwhelming having someone's entire masterlist of H/D fic and having to narrow it down to just one fic (lots of reading, which was super cool in of itself) but in another way, it was easier to figure out what to write because the framework of the story was already there, if that makes sense! I think it definitely works a different part of the creative brain. Anyway, I can only say awesome things about it! If that helps you mull it over. :)
Yes, it does! Thanks for sharing your experience! It definitely seems like a fun challenge, and something very different from the other fests in fandom. I'm definitely seriously thinking about it. :D

But really, I think it's a cool fest, and no one expects novel-length fics. And I'm happy to brainstorm possible fics/art to remix if you like ♥

It really is a cool and unique fests, and that's true about there not being too many super long fics. :D
I'm still trying to figure out what my next few months are going to look like fandom/writing-wise, but I'm definitely considering it!
