--probably not in my lifetime, but some day. We'll still keep fighting, though.
And even though it won't be "legal", we're still having our ceremony. One of our dearest friends is an amazing spiritualist and she's doing the handfasting. We couldn't ask for anything more. We feel more blessed having her do the ceremony than we could ever hope for.

Give it time though. I think a lot of younger people (our generation and younger) arent quite as conservative and anti-gay as older generations, so I think that by the time the kids that are being born now are old enough to vote, we might see change for the better in regards to this issue. At least I sincerely hope so.
...and while gay marriage is legal in Finland, it isnt at home in Australia, so you guys are still ahead of us.
