So life has gotten kind of busy lately and I haven’t posting life updates as I should. I know, I know, but you must forgive me, but as you see I have found some time now and actually feel the urge to get some stuff out and ramble a bit

The only thing that concerns me is, if you thought this was similar to the Joseph thing, there's no way you'd be doing it. The fact that you were concerned about it earlier this year tells me you were afraid you might be able to justify it to yourself in some way (such as saying "my relationship with Jon is completely different") and that would be when you hoped someone would knock you upside the head, so to speak. You've been in a relationship with Jon for what, a few months now? I realize I have no experience to draw on here, but that just doesn't seem like enough time to me to make a decision that should affect the rest of your life. I guess what I'm thinking is that if you plan to finish school anyway, where's the harm in waiting until then instead of jumping into things you can't get out of? You have the rest of your life ahead of you, and it sounds great right now, so enjoy it for a little while. If you want to get engaged, well, I'm not stopping you, but I would advise at least putting off the wedding for a couple years. Anyway
