f.t Island: "It's happening";Seunghyun/ Minhwan; pg-13

i am taking this slowly but so far has came and i am enjoying writing this.

Stolen first kisses
"Hey, what's going on here?" Minhwan's eye dilated before he turned around, managing to look not surprised.

"Nothing is on. I thought you were on delivery today." He hoped Seunghyun would never see his brother who he hid behind his built fruitlessly.

"Not today. The roads are too dampened because of yesterday's rain." He scratched the back of his head. Minhwan looked very nervous before him.

"What's wrong?" he quietly asked but he caught up with who sat behind Minhwan. He gulped the sudden moist in his mouth. His mouth shaped as an O he nodded before taking off and excusing himself behind the counter.

"Listen Minhwan, I am not here to make trouble for you, I just want to talk." Jonghun stood up, towering over Minhwan with few centimeters.

"Just do me a favor and don't ever call my name. That, and get out of this place. I don't stand seeing your face." He spoke in a low voice, pronouncing his restlessness with Jonghun with every slick word. Jonghun's eyes had their own share of enlarging; he could not believe his own blood related brother just told him such thing.

"We're going, don't worry about it." Hongki suddenly got up and dragged Jonghun along; he also dropped few bills at the table to cover their abandoned orders. The two seniors left the place as quietly as they arrived. Glad that no scene was dragged on because of this, Minhwan got back to his work and included Jaejin to his list of people he shall ignore today.

"Listen, your brother is just acting on his hormones, he's too young." Hongki tried to reconcile Jonghun but the boy had the biggest pout on his face. He wrapped a sorry arm around Jonghun's shoulder while wearing a sympathetic expression.

"You don't get it. Since I reacted so badly to his sexual preferences two years ago, I mean he was in a very sensitive age and I humiliated him before my best friend."

Hongki suddenly withdrew his arm, giving Jonghun a look that challenged him to talk more about this best friend who left Jonghun exactly two months after the old incident. They began to walk and Jonghun noticed how Hongki picked up his pace to get ahead.

"What? You know how close Wonbin and I were. You're still my very good friend." Jonghun reasoned, not very bright on how Hongki was fighting the urge to punch his face.

"Except that I am a darn better friend than he will ever be, I used to be your friend even before Wonbin showed up with his miraculous cool skills." He sounded bitter but he had the right to act like it.

"Don’t tell me you and Wonbin didn't click together better than he and I did." The continued the conversation in the bus, taking it to the next shopping mall. Jonghun didn't need to shop, but Hongki shopped when he is upset. It's an expensive habit.

"Are you going to talk about this all the way to the mall?" Hongki interrupted Jonghun's thoughts, obviously too annoyed with their topic. "I don't want to talk about it." He snapped when he saw Jonghun's brow arching bemusedly.

They sat in silence till the bus stopped and even then; Hongki didn't say anything which was very uncharacteristic-like of the chatty boy.

He found Seunghyun at the back sitting on the wooden bench and brooding into the empty space of an alley. It has become like their little spot they hang in when they are done or when they share breaks. He brought up the cold soda can to Seunghyun's upper arm and startled the boy. He gave a small smile to the wide pair of eyes.

Seunghyun relaxed upon seeing the familiar face and accepted it with an open invitation to sit down next to him. Minhwan sighed while doing so. He glanced at the boy next to him and looked for an opening to start a conversation.

"I'm sorry I walked out of there without offering any greeting." Seunghyun began, offering a shameless grin at the shorter boy. Minhwan shrugged, not caring about manners as long as Seunghyun didn't bother thinking of Jonghun.

It provoked him to eavesdrop on Seunghyun's thoughts, but Minhwan had been practicing not using his ability, he shall not disturb the whole success he had recently.

"What are you thinking about?" Seunghyun's question was the last question he expected.

He stared into the void now filled with Seunghyun's close face, his breath slightly touching his cheeks -which got very hot by the time Minhwan controlled himself. He clinched his apron and blew his cheeks in an attempt to sound very unsure. "Nothing really, I had my mind blank." Except all I am thinking of is what it would taste like to lick your mouth. He groaned inwardly, his thoughts couldn't stop from wandering on and on about Seunghyun's near face.

"I didn't mean to run away like that; I just couldn't see anything but your face." He scotched in his place, bringing more space between them but their eyes were still locked together. He saw confusion form between Minhwan's brows.

"Because of the last time you helped me. I still remember your face and whenever I see your brother, your face shows up." His face reddened, obviously quite not sure about why this subject is being discussed by his side.

They stared into each other's faces, Minhwan couldn't think of anything to say. Whether it was how busy his mind was being overly joyful or because he was so confused. Was it a good thing that Seunghyun saw him in his brother's face?

It was hard to break the eye contact but they were both pushed into jumping from their seats when Jaejin popped out of nowhere. He had a cheeky smirk, as if he knew exactly what went in both of their minds. Minhwan forced a glare at the intruder but the baby faced teenager's grin got wider.

"I'm leaving, and I thought you can walk with me, please?" he politely asked, as if he knew his request was unreasonable. Minhwan gave an incredulous look; he had the guts to ask him to walk him home? What is he, a fifteen years old teenage girl?

"Yeah, it's already a bit dark, so I will give my uncle a good reason you had to go home early." Seunghyun smiled lightly at him before going pass Jaejin and entering the back door. Minhwan then almost throttled the other kid; he even had his hands so close to the thin neck.

"I swear, you are begging me to kill you." He said it bleakly; Jaejin is seriously after his temper.

"Wow, this is the most emotional outburst I experienced from you since I first knew you. I have to admit, it's a bit scary but amusing." He walked with Minhwan as the boy got into the changing room. He expected the naked back before him admirably. Minhwan was built perfectly for a boy in his age, broad shoulders with a very firm back and his shoulder blades were very defined -they make you want to touch and massage.

They walked quickly and it was mostly because Minhwan wanted to get rid of the goat-resembling boy as soon as possible. Minhwan doesn't even want to know what goes in his head and what kind of thoughts he has for Seunghyun even if he was gay.

In fifteen to twenty minutes walking, they got back into their neighborhood without exchanging words. Minhwan had a frown as he snapped his head to Jaejin.

"Are you happy now? Here, I walked you home. Now can I get a break from you?"

He didn't think before walking away. He paused without his contentment with Jaejin's sharp yank to his sweatshirt sleeve. He turned around but froze as Jaejin pulled him into a kiss. His eyes widened so badly they threatened to pop out of their socks. The kiss ended as soon as it happened.

"The answer is yes, I am happy now." He stressed the last word, emphasizing his pleasure in kissing Minhwan. Minhwan stared back, further more than Jaejin's head and into the eyes of his older brother.

"Hyung," He spoke the word unconsciously. Before he even thought, he pushed Jaejin aside and ran toward Jonghun who just got into the corner to witness the kiss.
Jaejin started off behind Minhwan but a voice in his brain stopped him. 'Stay away.' It yelled more precisely and held him in his spot.

"It's not what you think!" the younger boy pushed his voice down Jonghun's ears, forcing Jonghun to stop walking hurriedly away and face him.

"You don't have to explain anything to me. In fact, you can do whatever you want, consider I never existed there." Jonghun found himself being hurt. Why was he hurt over something he had no control of? Minhwan was his baby brother, true, but he had no authority on the boy.

He gave Minhwan a stern look before walking pass him and getting into a cab he didn't even own the money to pay. He stopped the cab three blocks away, and paid it without his wallet's contents. Frustrated with himself, he kicked an innocent stop sign only to exclaim in pain.

Fishing out his cell phone, he called the only person he had in mind, Lee Hongki. After five rings the latter answered with a hurried tone. "What? I'm busy."

"I'm coming over, you better be home." He half yelled, but he knows he isn't capable of yelling. It took him less than usual to get to the boy's apartment. Hongki lived with his mom but she usually stayed with her sister with Hongki's sister.

"You got here fast, come in." Hongki ushered him in. being very close, Jonghun allowed himself to a drink in the kitchen. He inspected the can in his hands of cherry pop and grimaced.

"Why do you drink this shit?" he asked Hongki while holding the can away from him. Hongki shrugged and exchanged the cherry beverage with a bitter root beer.

"What brings you here? We just parted like an hour ago." The shorts boy leaned against the counter, and sipped from his drink.

"I ran into a dead end with this accepting Minhwan's sexuality issue. I don't know how to react to seeing my baby brother kissed by another male -the fact that the latter is our neighbor is irrelevant." He sought knowledge from Hongki's eyes but the brown orbs just stared back at him confusingly.

"He was kissed? By your neighbor? And you saw that?" he questioned the obviously clear fact but Jonghun put that aside and nodded to them.

"How was it?" he asked more excitedly, obviously picked up with the significance of this conversation.

"How was what?" he asked back, not sure what Hongki talked about.

"The kiss how was it? Was it a light peak, or was it a hot steamy French kiss?" Hongki had sparks in his eyes as he spoke of the later kind. Jonghun's brows frowned, obviously hating the mental image.

"French kiss?! Gross! That's my brother you're talking about! And no! It was a light peak; I got there before the guy leaned in and kissed him shortly." He answered quickly.

"Chill, it's not like you've never kissed before!" Hongki gave him a look that explained that there was no way he could deny that, Jonghun was very popular and went out with many girls since he got into high school. To his shock, Jonghun's cheeks' color changed as kisses were mentioned.

"No way…. You've never been kissed before?" Hongki couldn't connect everything but Jonghun can't fake a face like that! Jonghun's eyes averted somewhere beside Hongki's mocking eyes.

"Just get over it already. It's not like I move that quickly with girls. That's not important; now help me understand my homosexual younger brother!" He changed the subject as fast as he could.

"Well, what did it look like? Was Minhwan into it or was he surprised in a bad way?" he asked, fishing out the true meaning behind this so he would help his best friend the best way he can.

"How do I know?! I never saw men kissing except on Brokeback Mountain! And it was nothing like that movie!" he exclaimed desperately. He couldn't get help in any way on this matter.

"I know what to do now, I am trying hard to understand his feelings but I see this and I freak out! I even told him to pretend I saw anything."

"Listen, I will help you but you need to promise me you'd pretend like I did nothing, okay?" Hongki said after thirty minutes of quietness, he had a confident look but still he fidgeted in his stance.

"Fine, do it. I want to do anything to understand him!" he sat back at the counter and watched as Hongki disappeared with a nod into his bathroom.

He got back with a small mirror in his hand. Without a single word, Jonghun had Hongki on his face, kissing his lips softly. He gave a squeak and it ended. Hongki pulled back, and pushed the mirror in his face.

"Did Minhwan's face look like this?" Hongki fought the urge to gaze into Jonghun's face too and know his reaction.

"No." Jonghun whispered, "He looked nothing like this! How can you do this?! You know this is my first kiss!" his outburst came after he looked clearly at his reflection. His cheeks are flushed, and usually dark eyes were bright with some sort of excitement. It looked Nothing like Minhwan's dilated eyes, and shocked expression. His face just looked pleased at some level.

"I am just trying to help you, besides it failed because we still don't know what the kiss meant for Minhwan." He gave an exaggerated sigh and moved to the couch. Jonghun was right behind him to begin his argument.

"Maybe because he didn't get his first kiss stolen by his ex-best friend."

"Ex? What are you talking about? That kiss didn't count. You're still a virgin kisser." Hongki had mockery obvious in his eyes. He didn't 'steal' Jonghun's first kiss, it was barely a real kiss.

Jonghun had a thoughtful look on his face as he dropped the can onto the center table. He turned to Hongki and looked closely into his eyes before cupping Hongki's face and bringing it to his face. He kissed his best friend for five seconds before Hongki pulled back, shocked at the reaction.

"What the hell was that for?" aghast with the rush of emotions that flooded his insides all together, Hongki yelled half-heartedly.

"Payback, you asshole." He grunted before pushing Hongki onto the couch and kissing him deeper.
