I love her bat (which I will attempt myself at some stage) and her fire lizzard.

She is a most talented person.

The bat made me squee with joy. It's so cute! And life sized!

Oh yes. I'd want them for my very own if they weren't the sort of plush toy my little dog finds fascinating. (I do intend to occasionally visit LJ, now I am done with sewing until the end of the year. :P)

I thought the Batarang would make a good dog toy. Though it would be kind of a waste of all that sewing talent to make something so cute just to be chewed up and drooled on.

Such a cute lil' bat! And I adore the ice cream - *L*! How did she start doing such things?

Thanks! I picked up Carolyn Vosburg Hall's book Sewing Tiny Toys on a whim at the library, made the bat, and was hooked. The rest of the designs are fannish-inspired, which as we all know is a great source of motivation :-D

Anything with the word "tiny" catches my eye. I still want to see that book for myself. It sounds so fun!

Wow - they're so neatly-done! That seems hard to do by hand, but I'm sure you can't use a sewing machine for something so small. The ice cream cone is brilliant. *G*

(p.s. Where did you get your name from?)
