The state supreme court declared a law against same sex marriage, passed by ballot initiative, is unconstitutional (under the state constitution). I mean, how petty do you have to be to want to prevent two consenting ADULTS who love each other from getting married? Why is it anyone else's business ( Read more... )

Srsly, it made me so happy when they started performing same sex marriages in San Francisco. OMG! Anarchy! People kissing and hugging and being happy because they'd lived together 10, 20, 30 years and could finally make it legal! Like the summer of love all over again...with marriage certificates!

The protesters are, predictably, already out in force. Sheesh people, you don't have to approve, you don't have to invite them over for dinner, but butt out already. And the thought of creating a constitutional amendment to *restrict* someone's rights...offends me so deeply.
