My favorite teacher from college, who I swear was the only person who believed in my photography, and who I had a major crush on, and who is so super together and organized and talented... is friends with me on FB.

I am a totally lulzy FB user. The most random and usually embarrassing crap pops up on my wall sometimes...

He ignored 95% of it, but responds every single fucking time I mention my photography... which means he reads everything. *fail for me* But it's been helpful having him on there because he still motivates me and encourages me, even though he has no obligation to.

He also sends me a Christmas card every year... ?

dude YES, exactly! there's always that one prof who makes you feel like you can conquer the world, and therefore you adore them. i would like to be able to add this guy, but it just feels weird on some level i can't figure out -- ultimately ignored it, but we'll see if he emails one day just to see how i am. that would be nice.

Not really such a grand idea. I'm with the majority on this one, I'd say NO!

Also, "douche chills" is my new favorite expression, thank you! I have has that feeling before about squicky memories and had no words to describe it. Now I do! :)

LOLOL 'douche chills' is totally a favorite of mine, and it came from david cross -- i think on the mr. show? but by all means, use it to death, because it is the perfect description for SO MANY FEELINGS!

also, totes never added the professor. too weird for me. you are right.

Oh man, I don't know. I mean, there's a reason I haven't added my boss or assistant director to facebook. D: I guess it might be better if he's still not your professor, though.

this was totes swaying me for a while -- well it's not like we're in professional contact anymore! -- but ultimately i chose to ignore. there's a line somewhere, and i didn't know quite where it was, but i just wasn't hip to crossing it. oh well!
