very tired. this got built from a paragraph that never made it into i know a place (which was a follow-up to the original given the chance). developed it a bit, for explorey purposes. introspective jensen, memory-laden jensen, no really. nothing happens. it's just thoughts.

I am SO GLAD you're revisiting this verse. Jensen's inner monologue is such an interesting bit, complicated and questioning, always betraying his actions. Please write this everyday.

i am loving this verse so i'm glad you do too. i have like seven other ideas simultaneously at various stages of fruition, i need to get ORGANIZED, DAMN, but there is a vision for the next part to this! i think i took notes on it, somewhere, hopefully somewhere more substantial than my brain, cause that's a hot mess right now.

god, this hurt to read. idk if it's just jared through jensen's eyes or whatever but the jared he's describing here just breaks my heart. and it's a really interesting combination, too, because jensen is so clearly pining, which adorable and sweet, yes - gives him a lot of depth, yes, but he doesn't DO anything in that memory to help jared. so i want to hate him, but i can't.

man, i would LOVE more of this 'verse, you have no idea.

DUDE, definitely more with this verse. i was just saying to amy, i have ideas, i just can't remember if/where i jotted them down ahh. BRAINFLAIL -- but there is waay more going on here than i planned, so i would surely like to explore.

don't you love it when that happens? when you write something and it takes on a life of it's own, just gets bigger and bigger than the little idea in your head? it's like a transcendental, transformative experience. it's why i love reading and writing so much. so, YAY!

Also: "Cold Desert." It's not really a suggestion, because I'm a little afraid of what you might do to them to the tune of that song. But it's what I noticed was playing while I was reading the last couple of paragraphs.

omg i am so glad you & others enjoy this! you have no IDEAAA. the characters here, i am obsessed. have a few other ideas i'm working on for the 30 in 09/10 challenge, but this is definitely going to be a verse i will address again this month. I GOTS IDEAS. [kind of]

HAHA NO JOOOKE. but i know what you mean about the tone of the song, there is a lot of really good material and a strong atmospheric quality worth digging into! if not this verse, surely some tore-up-good spn gen.
