I really enjoyed this. I like the portrait you draw of Sarah as someone who is observant, brave, and smart, but making choices that will probably turn out badly in the long run. After all, John Watson is a hard man to resist. I want to give her a big hug and some chocolate. John isn't even able to consciously realize quite how badly he's screwing her over.

Oh, wow. I absolutely adore this. Unlike most people (it seems), I actually like Sarah a lot. She's good for John. But at the same time, I also like Sherlock/John. I kind of agree that she'll probably be the one who suffers the most in this "love triangle".

Because, despite everything, it's worth it. For any moment of John Watson she's allowed to have.

This is my favorite line. It seems to me that in the world of ACD and even in this BBC-incarnation, John Watson is simply one of the best men to ever exist (fictionally, of course).

Oooh, poor Sarah. I've always thought she handled the whole being-kidnapped-on-first-date-and-in-mortal-danger-thing quite well.
Also she had no problems with jumping in on the fight, which makes her quite cool in my book.

But yeah, this is how it goes for her and I like this look at Sarah, as sad (though real) it is.

That's lovely, and a great perspective of Sarah and John's relationship. Sarah would be good for him, with the way she understands that she'll never really have him.
