So this a demon social call. Hmm, I think the backstory with Anzu is interesting, and it might possibly explain him a bit. I also think that Bartimaeous's words are very revealing and important, considering this is a crossover with TDL. Honestly, I love the last paragraph. and wonder what Nick's going to do with what he takes away from this conversation.

Ooh. I loved this whole thing, honestly, from the moment I realized that you were crossing these two universes. Bartimaeus would be the one to understand, because of Ptolemy. And if anyone could figure out a way to talk without the speaking lines, it would be Bartimaeus :).

I mean, the 'verses are very different (one of the biggest things being that the Other Place is wonderful and no one wants to have to leave it, and in TDL demons are dying to get to our world), but I love that you made them work together for a minute here, as well as touching on that yet-unexplained thing with Anzu in TDC.

And the last paragraph is exactly what Bartimaeus would say, given everything, and I really can't speak much more coherently about this. My love is big and tremendous. Thank you!
