Per commitment:
It struck me (again) yesterday on how our thought about "GOD" really only gives us two options. If we are atheists then we can dismiss ALL thoughts about responding to God. BUT if we profess to believe in a God at all, and if it is the GOD of creation and salvation, how can we imagine getting by with anything less than 100% commitement to HIM? Less than 100% is really declaring he is no God at all. HE either is or he isn't and our response must be either as a sold out disciple or as an atheist.
It was actually kind of a "shocking" realization when I put it to myself in those terms.

Guess that was the choice Joshua put to the people. IF God be God..."

That's so true: disciple or atheist. Wow.
There needs to be more messages along these lines preached in churches today! It seems like other religions have high "entry requirements", or even standards of living and worship once you've entered. Why is Christianity different?
