By the way, I just saw your deviant art site and you take your pictures beautifully. If it's not so much trouble, can you give a quick advice on how you photograph or the specs of your self-portrait?
um.. i dont really know im not professional or anything. i only use my mobile phone or those shots tbh :) well i think the best you can do is 1.find your best angle and work on it.then expand it afterwards. uh.. what i mean.. like me, i think i look better just staring at the camera. so most of my shots are like that. then later i do different of shots too (after i got more confidence) 2. try experimenting poses. 3.go for the dramatic effect(e.g looking intensely at the camera,wind blowing your hair ... things like that) 4.make sure your background compliment the model in the picture. i think if your still just a beginner its best to stick with plain backgrounds 5.make sure the picture is organized to look at. 6.learn photoshop. post-processing is more important than it seems. especially me, i only use mobile camera so its the best i've got in boosting my pic resolution.
