"Ah, thanks. Your city might not be taking that so much as a compliment right now. Good thing we're still not up to first impressions, huh?" She rubbed at the spot on her forehead hoping it wasn't enough of a hit to bruise it so it matched her top. "Beautiful roses, Bruce. Once again you show me that pink is still a colour you can carry off."

Another glance down at her, a faint smile forming across his mouth, before Bruce stepped further towards the window. "You're as beautiful as I remember." It's probably clear he isn't actually addressing the view, but the woman next to him.

She smirked a little, her eyes mostly on him instead of the view. "Wouldn't want your ego being depressed. That usually leads to much Ben & Jerry's while watching Molly Ringwald movies. Or is that just my ego when it's depressed?"
Buffy tucked her hands behind her back and clasped them. "Now I know for a fact my ego would have been horribly depressed if you'd forgotten that fact. Not that I'm being immodest. I'm chock full of modesty. You're just as good with the compliments as I remember. And as handsome. Also, definitely developing a suit fetish."
