Hello, Jess....my favorite Sheryl Crow song is Strong Enough! I am happy you get to enjoy some time with your family. Yay!!! Did you read the article in Scene (Sac Bee) from less than a week ago about the local fashion designers? Shit...i totally forgot to save it to bring it to you. You can probably find it online, though. The guest speaker in my class was totally cool. And i asked her the question about the characteristics.... Ewe...she said mostly, you have to like people. I told her to fuck off. But i am still thinking about volunteering. I hope i can handle it. She said many hospice patients die within a week of entering hospice care. Thats some tough shit to take on. And i am a crier. There is a pediatric unit of hospice at UCDMC. That is really rough, but it will be so rewarding. She called it a gift when people allow her and other caretakers to enter their lives and share their remaining time. I agree with her. Hard as it will be, IT WILL be worth it. On that inspiring note, i wish you well.
Yeah, I like that song too! But it does give me flashbacks of being 13 and in love with every boy I never talked too...you too probably! I am glad that you asked the speaker a question! I am proud! I think that volunteering there would be a great idea and it sounds like it would be rewarding. Plus, you are so good at making people laugh and smile! Actually, off subject.....you'll never believe it, but Tom actually put that local designers article in my mailbox! I know. But I wrote to one of the girls who I knew of (she's in the sobo) and asked how she got into that fashion council thingy...so we're going to chat Saturday at the SoBO. SO, we'll see what I can talk myself into. I'm so glad that you have started going to college! It's fun after awhile. See you Wonnie!
I am proud of Tom for thinking of someone else. i am glad you read it. I wish you lotsa luck and fun at the SoBo!!!!!! College is coo for now...i am interested in day classes....even thouugh thats when all the newbies go. Ewe...i'll be the old man! I am just not wanting to be getting home at 11pm, and then going to work early the following morning. Next semester...i 'll change my work schedule to accomodate for school more. ut...yeah...school is pretty cool. Again...lots of luck on Saturday!!! Wonnie
