Can it be July yet? My bff and I are making the relatively short drive down from Los Angeles and we're counting the days. Are any of you lovely gqmfs planning on cosplaying or dressing up?

OMG SO EXCITED!!! Also hoping that more 4-day passes will be refunded, as I haven't gotten mine yet; that or I'll sign up to volunteer. I currently live in SD, so if any of my roommates go home for the summer I might be able to offer up a place to crash for Con-goers. :D

I'm sooooo going! Even if my friend bailed on me, this is gonna be so much fun! I'm flying in from Canada, and this is my first time in San Diego (and consequently Comic Con), so I'm up for any advice anyone has for me, lol.

Cool! I definitely think I'll try to put together a guide for first-timers, since I think a fair amount of us are veterans with lots of otherwise useless knowledge :)

I still need to figure out hotel arrangements, though. Any reccomendations on convenient places to stay without putting up like $400/night?
