Who: Dari Davison & Jeremy Pitt What: coming home from training Where: Kings Cross When: October 2, 2006, around 4pm Rating: PG-13 Open to: Dari & Jeremy
Jeremy was looking around for Dari as the people slowly filed off the train. He was on the verge of worrying, when he heard a familiar voice. A huge grin broke over his face and his head snapped in the direction of that sweet hello. "Hey," he returned, clearly happy to see her.
Over the past several weeks, he'd worried many times that she would have changed her mind about being with him but he'd tried to dismiss that as complete silliness.
He saw her hesitate and he instantly thought that maybe she'd had a change of heart. "Merlin, I've miss you," he muttered, pulling her into his arms and hugging her.
Even if she didn't want to be with him, they were Jeremy and Dari... how could he not hug her? He pressed his lips to her neck. "I'm glad that you're home."
Dari was beyond thrilled to see him and the second his arms moved around her, she was returning the hug, squeezing him tightly as she pressed her face into his chest and just took a moment to breathe him in, re-memorizing his scent.
"I missed you so much," she whispered as her eyes squeezed shut and she hugged him a little tighter, an involuntary moan slipping past her lips when she felt his on her neck. It had been six weeks and she couldn't help but react to even that simple brush of lips.
Six weeks might not seem like a long time to most people, but it had felt like an eternity to her and she was so, so glad to be home again, even if she was nervous about what she needed to tell him.
Jeremy held her closely, just as tightly as she was holding him. There was a large smile still lingering on his face.
Six weeks could feel like an eternity when you were separated from the person you loved. This particular six weeks had felt like four eternities. Ash they hugged, the desire to kiss her became rather overwhelming and he couldn't quite help himself. It felt far too good to have her so close after all this time and he didn't even consider resisting the urge when he pulled back just enough to press his lips to hers.
He kissed her soundly, and his arms tightened around her even more. Then he sighed, no one could understand how happy it made him to have her home.
Dari sighed happily as he kissed her. Merlin, she'd missed him. She deepened this kiss almost instantly, forgetting about her nervousness or anxiousness or anything except for good it felt to kiss him again, to be in his arms.
Dari had missed Jeremy more than she could put into words. Six weeks had felt like practically forever and having something so insanely important to tell him, worrying about how he would take it, had only made that more so.
Not that she was thinking about her news now, because all she could think at the moment was how much she'd really missed him and how amazing it was to see him again, how good it felt to have his arms around her and his lips on hers and she couldn't help deepening the kiss for a bit.
She pulled back breathlessly after a moment, though, needing to breathe, one hand lightly caressing his cheek and a bright smile on her face.
"Merlin, it's good to see you, love," she whispered breathlessly.
