Date/Time: Thursday, March 16, 2006 - 7PM Location: Charms corridor Open To: Jamesy-kins Currently Involving: Rinny McSnugglebunny Warnings: Um...JEWINESS. Yes.
James, as usual, was lazying about. Oh, sure, he had plenty of schoolwork that needed done, but... eh. It could wait, couldn't it? He wanted to have a bit of fun, but at the moment... yeah, there wasn't much to do.
Sigh.
Of course, that was quickly resolved when he, quite literally, ran into someone. Not the sort of interaction he'd been hoping for, but hey, it would do. And when he realized who it was? Yeah, that brightened his mood quite a bit.
Shooting his brow up, James patted Rin on the head, grinning down at her. "You," he said as he leaned down a little. "Where were you a few days ago? I had to celebrate a holiday all alone, since nobody in this school is cool enough to celebrate the holidays that we do."
He grinned a little more and ruffled her hair. "And how's my favourite buddy, huh?"
Rin smirked. "Ew. Why would I want to spend my holidays with you?" she asked, giving him a disgusted look. "No one likes you, James. You should just learn to accept this." She rolled her eyes, then decided that pretending to be grossed out was far too much effort.
"I went into one of those random productive spurts. You know me. But it's gone now, obviously. I'm sorry I missed out on spending Purim with you," she said, giving him a little pout then brushing her hair out of her face. Rin was a spaz, and even she knew it.
...she had just got her hair in place and he messed with it. Ew. She gave him a glare, but couldn't contain a small smile. She sighed. "I'm bored. You?"
Draping an arm over her shoulders, James gave a rather dramatic sigh. "Basically? I'm fantastic," he said simply. "So, of course you'd want to spend a holiday with me! I know, I know, I might intimidate you and whatnot, but I swear, I'm a nice guy."
His brow shot up a bit at that. "Ah, yes. Those times when you're nothing but a blur passing in the hols and everyone in school should be on high alert because you are, indeed, out of your mind," his grin was light and teasing. "But don't worry about it, really. I've just missed you."
Another cheeky grin. "Bored. Avoiding work and looking for fun."
Rin raised an eyebrow, looking up disbelievingly. "You? Not as fantastic as me, obviously," she said with a smirk, stepping out from under his arm. "I'm much cuter. And you don't scare me at all." She turned to face him with a grin, crossing her arms over her stomach.
"Hey!" She reached out and gave him a playful shove. "I am completely sane, thank you." She pouted a little, but that turned into a smile at his next comment. "Aw, well isn't that sweet."
She raised an eyebrow at that. "So it seems we are both bored. Shall we do something to cure this?"
Pumping his fist into the air, James cheered a bit. "Yes! I win! Not that I didn't before, but I just win even more now," he said as he dropped his arm. "And, of course I would. I'm a nice guy! Why wouldn't I?"
James laughed at that. "You are, of course," he said with a nod. "And, as long as you promise, we're good."
"We are!" He agreed as he chuckled. "Too bad the rest of the world is so unworthy of us, eh? Though, maybe we could spread our awesomeness around so the world can get a taste of it."
Rin laughed happily. "I'm so glad! I don't know what I'd do without your training." She nudged him playfully. "And you do win. You've one my heart good sir," she added with a dramatic sigh.
She looked at him 'lovingly', taking his hand. "Oh James, you are ever so romantic." God, they were both acting ridiculous today. "Of course I promise. How could I resist?"
She nodded sanctimoniously. "We should! It must be done. The world must learn of how amazing we are. The question is, how do we accomplish such a feat?"
James laughed a little more at that, dimples flashing as his grin stretched from practically ear to ear. He was in a fantastic mood, thanks much, and didn't want to bother with hiding it. "Oh, have I, now?" He asked with a raised brow. "A fantastic heart to have, indeed!"
"And... of course I am," he said with a tone that seemed offended that she would ever think otherwise. "I'm not a failure like most males, you know."
He grinned again at that. "Well, let's see," he said. "We could take out an ad in the Prophet, talking about how amazing we are?"
"My heart is pretty fabulous. Alas, it will surely break as I do not deserve yours," Rin said, then put her hand to her forehead and sighed dramatically.
"Ew. Boys. You're the only one worthwhile." She wrinkled her nose. It was true, though. She wasn't really a fan of the male gender.
Her eyes widened. "We so should. We'd sell so many papers." She pulled a puzzled face. "Do you think they'd print it? They'd better!"
