Empire: Jamal's recent storyline wasn't badly done. Sure, we had very low expectations, but I think the result was all right. I've got friends who've seen a lot of biphobia recently in the 100 fandom. I've seen some too, but I guess I'm less sensitive to it than they are because, to me personally, having canon f/f (whatever the sexual orientation of the two ladies) is more important than having a bi lead.

I was more complaining about the dialogue than the storyline. Of course, the dialogue has never been subtle.

I know what you meant, but I think the dialogue might have been planned as part of the storyline from the start (since Lucius spoke to the journalist before the hiatus) and is not necessarily the result of people criticising the storyline.
