Elementary: Yay for more gay characters (even though one was dead, but at least he turned out not to be evil)!

I didn't see the Mycroft thing coming, though it makes sense in light of BBC!Mycroft. I have no idea if it's based on something from the books, though.

I have no idea if it's from the books either. I never read one of the Sherlock books all the way through.
