It's actually a cool part of the city. Unless you have a car, you're going to get very, very intimate with the 38 Geary MUNI line. Just make sure it's a 38L instead of the regular 38. And don't touch any surfaces on the bus unless you have Purell with you. And make sure your wallet is in your front pocket and your bag is secured.

Well, maybe you should get a car.
