I used to, too, for a while. Until I noticed that I had a bad habit of just kind of exploding on people who didn't deserve it and was ruining friendships that way...so I quit. Now I get mad, I make a point of telling the person that deserves it, we talk things out, make up, and life goes on.
You're going to win, Rin...And when you do, you'll then get to tell us all about it, and in the process, put a little bit of joy in a sick woman's day
( ... )
I don't count anything until it's done, Hiroshi...never forget that art is subjective, and different judges see different things. And I will feel bad if I left for no reason....
Well, I'm glad that something productive is happening with Chinen-mama~! I have nothing but the highest faith that everything will go well. As for the warnings...well, that's doctors covering their asses...remember when I had my tonsils out? We were warned that bleeding out and dying could happen...so try not to think about that~ Jusy think about having answers, and that there very well could be a light at the end of this dark tunnel~
The judges are still retarded if you don't win, because your art is awesome and deserves 1st Place...And you didn't leave for no reason...You left to enter a contest...which is important...and which I talked you into doing...You have no reason to feel bad over it...
Yeah, but that was tonsils...This will be brain surgery....Having your throat balls removed somehow doesn't seem on quite the same scale as messing with your central nervous system...I mean, I'm definitely glad to know there is a way to fix this...But I know that I'm still going to be a nervous wreck the entire time she's in surgery just because I know that there's a bunch of different things that could end up going wrong on that operating table...
Then you need to be judging this thing, because I don't have half your confidence in this. All I can see is the many, many flaws....
It might not be, but my point was this: Everything has risks. Is it scary? Of course it is. Will you be wearing a hole in the floor until it's over? Of course you will. But what happens if that small risk isn't taken? And that's why you have a skilled surgeon, to minimize the things that can go wrong. If you think your boyfriend is going to have anyone less than the best operate on her, even if that person has to be imported from another country, then you're insane.
