[3] This is a quote taken from the Old Testament of the Bible (Ezekiel 33:11) as the prophet Ezekiel urges the people of Israel to turn back to the Lord lest his wrath destroy them for their sins. Interestingly enough, though, this is not from any standard English Bible translation I could find.
