A coffee pot that never runs out of coffee?

I have to admit, I'm jealous.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's the Rift's doing. I don't blame you for being wary, but it's often responsible for the inexplicable.

I have to admit it's definitely come in handy over the past couple of days.

So it does more than just pluck people from where they come from, then?

Have you just recently found yourself in Chicago?

Apparently, once you've fallen through the Rift there's a change of some sort. The change can be found in something as simple as eye color, or it can be something a bit more complex, like actually developing an ability.

And then it can be something glorious, like a never-ending supply of coffee. While there are plenty of things one has to worry about in Chicago, I doubt this is one of them.

I assume it's a Rift thing. You're actually very lucky. Most wanderers get things that aren't nearly that convenient. I have a friend who plays 80s music when he walks through doors.

Well, he doesn't play it. The doors do.

If it helps, it's probably not a trick. It sounds like the journals - they follow you around too, and never run out of pages. Except you have bonus caffeine!

That still sounds like something I could get behind. My own personal fanfare sounds pretty fun, too.

[She thinks about this for a bit.]

I guess that makes sense. As long as I can't get sick from it, or something.

It is occasionally impressive. Most of the time, it just gives us reasons to laugh at him.

Rift abilities... if you can call this an ability... aren't usually dangerous, though to be fair, I'm not sure I've ever heard of it providing food or drink.

I guess if you're really concerned you can ask on the journals for someone to test it. I'm sure there's a bored angel of knowledge or something in this city....
