Yay because I finished my paintings and framed them in time! lol! At the last minute totally counts ;) I took pictures of the paintings and I'll share this weekend (I'll take pics at the varnishing and post them at the same time).

Why not show more of my Italy trip, to stay in the theme? So this is post number 3 of 4, ( one, two)

you know what? Retire to Burano is one of the best life plan I have EVER heard of. It's so absolutely GORGEOUS. I hope with all my heart that you can make that happen! (and I'll go visit, if I don't end up buying the house beside yours ;) )

thank you! that first one is definitely in my top 3 of the trip, I think. I have started a painting with it, though it's a bitch to draw with all the houses. i am glad you are liking it! it's a pleasure to finally share =D

Beautiful, beautiful pictures. Loved Burano and the kitty!

And if you're dense, so am I. I'm not much of a fan of renaissance art, so I never paid any attention to the David and it wasn't until this year that I noticed the sling over the shoulder and went all 'ohhhh' and did a mental facepalm.

Love your pics of Burano and the kitty is just like one of our daughter Cath's cats !

I am happy you are enjoying the recap! Burano is so gorgeous and I'm a cat person so I kept taking pics of all the cats I saw (not that many, though!). Tabby cats are favorites of mine, since my first cat was one.

I should post more pics a little later!

I've only ever been to Milan, but I think Burano is very pretty, might have to add it to the list :)

I highly recommend the Venice area, especially Burano. it's incredibly gorgeous. I wish I could go back with you =D
