Please consider writing a sequel. I can't bear it. I'm all sniffling. If you don't want to write it maybe someone else will? God, the way Rodney was crying...you killed me...

I'm going go to my happy place where John has some sort of fab adventure in the blue light...only to return with the knowledge of how to make a ZPM. Yes, that's better.

Oh, and he and Rodney will live till they're 100 and then die quietly in each other's arms. Ah....see that's better.

I always thought I'd leave it at that, but I won't lie that I've been thinking of more now that it's posted, I hate to have Rodney suffer. maybe later I'll tackle a sequel, but if someone wishes to do it, they sure can. and hee, yes, yes your scenario would be the perfect antidote to this!
