last year, in the Halloween challenge at spn_halloween, I had submitted a prompt and inksheddings had transformed it into a great fic called "Breathe Easy". This year, I decided to write my own spin on it.

OMG Lou this is awesome Sweetie!

I loved the banter between the boys and then just Sam...Sam was awesome in this, I loved the whole thing at the pet store and Dean thinking it was just because Sam was flirting with Chloe.

Plus, you made me wanna know more about a cat! I really liked Pepper and his/her connection to Sam and the willingness to help the guys out.

Particularly liked the little details like Dean licking Sam's palm (which is a sentence I rather enjoyed writing!) and Dean getting pissy about the cat on the car's bonnet.

Oh, and the remaining mystery of why Sam can only hear the black cats...
