What a really beautifully written chapter in this story. I could picture this scenario in my head perfectly, you did a great job making it realistic but not melodramatic.

With the canon history between Gil and Heather, I can see this situation developing, and thus ending. You hit the nail on the head with their intimacy. Cheers!
