Ok this is a list of mostly funny movies, because those are the ones I like.

~Anything by Mel Brooks- the list I can make off the top of my head includes Blazing Saddles, History of the World Part 1, Men in Tights, Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety (probably harder to find, but very funny), Spaceballs, and he helped with the TV Get Smart.
~The Pink Panther movies. Not the new ones, the ones with Peter Sellers. Frikkin awesome.
~Batman: The Movie. THE ADAM WEST ONE.
~The Reduced Shakespeare Company, though this probably won't work for Chat movie night as I think you might have to buy it from them. :(
~Police Academy. 1-6 are pretty good, 7 sucks. Don't watch 7.

Watchmen and V for Vendetta? No, I'm not horribly biased. Hell, might as well throw Mushishi in there too, since it doesn't have an overarching plot and any episode can stand on its own.

Maybe some lame/silly/badly dubbed movies too for fun. old crappy animes or cheesy kung fu. lol...

oh and we actually own a box set of 100 sci-fi movies. Almost all of which are terrible. Some that come to mind are 'Starman' and 'Teenagers From Outer Space.'
