You're right! I never have trouble with inspiration for brand-new stories, like the ideas these pictures are giving me, because I get them all the time. Tough thing for me is getting inspiration for the scene I need to write half-way through a story, when I'm worries the pace is slowing, or at the end when it's just so hard to wrap things up.

Lovely! Artwork is awesome for feeding the bunnies. I have a whole folder of "inspiration" with just pictures in it, many from DeviantArt.

It is! I love it how one medium of art can inspire somebody working in another medium. (I just found out in the small print on the leaflet that came with my Within Temptation CD that they drew a ton of inspiration from George R. R. Martin. That does it, I'm reading his books, and I'm not putting it off!)

I love DeviantArt to pieces. Can't decide if I love the fanart, the original art, or the cosplays more.

OH yes, Game of Thrones is most certainly on The List. Along with many, many other things.

I most recently bought the first of the Wayfarer Redemption books by Sara Douglas simply because Luis Royo did the artwork for the covers. They're gorgeous.
