Might as well be. It's not like all the other fantastic suspense and horror movies haven't been remade already.

Yes, and I love it to pieces! I bought it before the Borders near me closed (*sob*), but I haven't read my own copy yet, because I'm afraid of unintentional plagiarism. You know a book has permeated your very soul when you write a line, marvel at how amazing it is and wonder how such brilliance came from your mind--and then realize it did not come from you, but from another book. *headdesk*

Visually, she is almost exactly the image that comes to my mind while reading the book. :)
