Major F****** Incompetence

My MFI saga continues - The delivery I was expecting between 12noon and 6:30pm today arrived at 6:45am. Even the morning slots don't start until after that. Went to bed at 3:30am - am not amused. Infuriated the delivery drivers by opening both boxes to check the items. Again one of the items was damaged, so I sent it straight back, so no nice side ( Read more... )

Bloody nora! That's bizarre, definitely in need of a complaint putting in.

They won't deal with the complaint until I'm happy with everything and then they'll discuss compensation. They even had the cheek to say 'just in case anything else goes wrong' last time I spoke with them and lo and behold it has. Seems like a ploy to stop people telling them to take the whole lot back to me. This is the 7th time I've had to complain to them.

My favourite trick is to then ask for the more official complaint route, would MFI have an ombudsman? It's AMAZING how quick they keel over an dgive you what you want :)

Maybe they'll be able to deliver another side panel on the second date?

Thanks. I'll try but they usually take a few weeks to redeliver. They do send couriers but all but one thing I've had through the couriers has been damaged. I tried to call today and well inside their opening hours but got a message saying they were closed and I should call back during their opening hours. I'm tempted to tell them to come and take it all away and just get some freestanding stuff from Zoo instead, but dad would be upset after all his hard work.
